    Ana Draovitch

Ana began skate school lessons with her younger sister Daria at the age of seven.  Almost six months later she attended her first "Grassroots to Champions" seminar, and has been an active G2C student even since.  Her coaches are Audrey Weisiger, Nick Perna and Dana Martin.  Currently, she is a Novice level skater at the National Level.  In 2008 and 2009 Ana competed at the US Figure Skating Junior National Championships, at the Juvenile and Intermediate levels.  She won the 2011 Novice Ladies Eastern Sectionals Championships and finished in eighth place at the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

If you were to ask people who know Ana to describe her you would probably hear something about her ambassadorship of figure skating, her work ethic, discipline, determination and the fact that Ana knows no stranger.  Figure skating has required Ana to make many sacrifices, living away from her parents and her siblings, spending long hours in the car either commuting to the rink or making a trip to North Carolina to spend time celebrating her siblings successes and just being able to be a family.  Although being on the ice is where Ana feels most at home; outside the rink Ana enjoys being with friends, dancing, drawing, reading, swimming and almost any other outdoor activity.
